Sakis Manolis is a photographer based in London specializing in portrait and fashion photography.

 

Sakis was raised in Thessaloniki, Greece and has a deep love for the Greek Islands, especially Corfu where he spent most of his childhood summers, with the most treasured person in his life, his grandma.  These idyllic summers in Corfu ignited his passion for photography which has since developed and grown.  Studying graphic design and multimedia at college introduced Sakis to a wider creative and digital world, but photography remained his passion.

 

In 2011 Sakis moved to London from Greece and began to pursue a career in photography.  Whilst working towards his postgraduate diploma in photography at the British Academy of Photography, he has attended a variety of workshops to develop new photography techniques.  He attended the Central St Martins, University of the Arts, where he has specialised  in portrait and fashion photography.

 

Sakis is completely addicted to taking ,making and creating photos – he’s found only one cure, to take more!    His background in graphic design has provided him with extensive skills in re-touching using Photoshop and Lightroom. His goal is to capturing the beauty, grace, strength and enthusiasm of people, Sakis is based in London but can travel for projects around the globe.
